Hihi. My name is Kipper or Ronin! My pronouns are he/him but i'm also fine with it/its. I'm a gatekeeper for the system :P. I am always co-conscious and i can talk via influencing the host, so don't mind me, i'm probably looking!

I am very interested in monsters (especially the classics, werewolves, vampires, gargoyles, demons...) and horror movies! But only those that include monsters and are old or low quality.

I'm actually werewolfkin myself! Althought in headspace i'm a human :P.

occasionally have hallucinations/delusions but not all the time. do those have to be constant to have schizophrenia? sometimes im aware theyre not real and sometimes im not, and they get worse under stress. (2/2) - kip (tag as "for kip" if possible?)

sorry if this is kind of a broad question and its ok if you cant answer but how can i tell if i have schizophrenia or stpd? i fit the diagnostic checklist for stpd + (½) - kip

Hey thanks for the question! 

Some of the differences between Schizophrenia and StPD are covered in the second section of this post HERE (link) and also are kind of talked about HERE (link). 

But as always, nobody over the internet can tell you for sure (and doing so would probably be potentially harmful, both to you personally and probably to them legally since handing out random diagnoses to people without having any authority/education/enough information whatsoever just seems like something someone could get in trouble for lol) , and the best thing to do would be to see a professional. This blog can help provide information and helpful relatable posts and etc. but we can’t ever decide what diagnosis someone may have or have anything to do with diagnosing them , all we can do is just provide potentially relevant information.

Persistent or frequent hallucinations/delusions would be something that more occurs in Schizophrenia, since StPD doesn’t have persistent psychotic symptoms. But people with StPD can have brief psychotic episodes under stress (lasting from minute to hours), it just depends on what precisely you’re experiencing. We do have some information on both Schizophrenia and StPD in our Resources Page (link) so that could be useful to you as well potentially. But either way, if it is causing you significant impairment or distress then it would be best to seek some sort of therapy or treatment if that’s possible for you given your situation.
