Alright, so I decided to go ahead and make the list. Mostly I tried to stick to winter and non-denominational things (so some New Years things), although there are still some Christmas-y ones in there too. I also used “I” and “You” for the scenarios because it was the easiest way I could think to phrase them, but they can be used for any two characters really.
You got caught in a snowstorm, so I invited you in to dry off and warm up.
You need a date to a holiday party because your [parents/friends/coworkers] think you’ve been dating someone all year but you completely made them up.
You waited until the last minute to shop for gifts and now you’re desperate and asking me, a total stranger, to help you pick something.
We’re both sledding in a park and I just watched you lose control and end up face first in a snow drift.
I’ve been waiting in this cafe for twenty minutes and am fully prepared to fight you over that peppermint latte.
My snow shovel broke so I came over to ask if I could borrow yours (and you just shovelled my drive for me instead).
My car broke down, and you couldn’t give me a tow but you did give me the blanket out of your backseat so I didn’t freeze to death waiting. Now I tracked you down so I could return it.
That's not a real tradition but you're trying so hard to convince me and it's kinda cute, so I'll play along.
This is my first time somewhere it really snows, and I wasn't expecting it to be so cold!
I have nowhere to go for the holidays so you invite me to tag along to your family's.
I really hate this carol and you play it 24/7.
It gets dark at 4pm and I’m miserable. You can’t fix it, but you’re really trying.
The Great Cocoa vs. Tea War
“That is not a Christmas movie!” “Yes it is, and I can prove it.”
“There’s no such thing as Christmas Magic.”
“Damn global warming! I miss snow…”
“I wasn’t expecting fireworks.”
"Are you sure this is a good idea? That ice looks thin."
“Your hands are like ice!”
