A borrower au with a twist

Hmmmm - 2 options! Izuku is tiny and can't turn it off - he ends up living in the league's bar in Kamino, sending information to pro agencies, they come to recognise the intel written in text so small it has to be magnified before they can make it out.

Option two and my favourite: Izuku has a quirk which means he can't be noticed . He can't turn it off. His mother dies in the villain attack that causes his quirk to manifest. Left with no one to take care of him - and presumed dead by authorities, he ends up at All Might's agency, living in the building. Its safe there and he gets to see his hero, even if his hero can't see him. He has to steal food, soaps and clothes, but he tries to take a little as he can.

All Might notices what seems to almost be a nest in one of the largely unused stationary cupboards on the same floor as his office. He's originally concerned its a villain or a stalker, but upon reviewing the footage he finds its a skinny 8 year old boy, wearing one of his shirts that went missing as a dress, the fabric swimming on him so much it almost brushes the floor.

Scared he'll freak the boy out, he starts 'forgetting' meals out on his desk, but Izuku is too afraid he'll notice them missing. Instead he starts stocking up on big boxes of dried fruit and nut bars, instant ramen, fruit puree bags, anything he can think of. He keeps an eye on them, quietly overjoyed when they start slowly vanishing.

Over time he manages to win Izuku's trust and starts leaving him messages which Izuku returns in kind. 2 months after he discovered Izuku, he mentions that he knows a young pro hero with the ability to temporarily erase quirks.

thiam: your ivy grows, and now i’m covered in you — first time blending and painting gifs! the parallel of their eyes glowing in 6x06 and 6x15 is so igniting!! the sword splitting the earth open? fantastic! the sans serif font is called dunbar which is also <3

this love x thiam — this is, like, the second set i ever made, but the coloring and glowing font are still so pretty to me and fitting of the dreamlike, expansive quality that the song’s rerecording has. also with how cool-toned most thiam scenes are, it all fell into place effortlessly and looks that way.

thiam: first love, you remember what that’s like? — (in which i discover my favorite sharpening settings for the first time, but not yet how to do transitions in gifs, so i make the transitions in video and import from there.) time and memory are my favorite topics to explore, so this was sooooo fun. i think it’s poignant!

i also enjoy the blending on the 3a set! the emotional tether gif especially, the timing of it, how the water flows over lydia’s hands, looks kind of starry, how her eyes flutter open as allison’s close. this was the “draft” version without selective color or a gradient map over it, which i think also looks nice:
