quirks/hobbies:

as ive said in another ask, faron really enjoys singing!

he also likes to dance, but...hes not very good...rip

they really enjoy fighting with iorveth (they dual wield daggers,,,its iconic) , but not. actual fighting. while some elves enjoy the adrenaline, it just makes him panic

when ever they are nervous they pull at their hair a bit and it makes it stick out strangely...ah the woes of long thick curly hair...

they also cannot walk on the left side of people. it just feels wrong and he will just switch sides.

they have a very Strange memory. they can remember VERY specific details about an event from four years ago, but cant remember what he ate for breakfast

they like to cook!

when they can/when they go to flotsam (its safer bc he doesnt look like scoiatael, and hes p safe), they like to steal iorveths old clothes because iorveth was FASHIONABLE back in the day. they think iorveth doesnt know, but iorveths very proud.

he loves cats!! he steals one in flotsam and it becomes everyones therapy cat.

they get jealous very easily, and while he knows its not a good look, he cannot help it :/

Foran is a dragon

Metziliah is an aireh

Adiria is a phoenix

Fehra is a deer/peryton

Another note is that an aireh is simply just a large bear (about 10-20 feet tall) that has horns and has spots that glow in the dark. It’s a creature from Foranon.

Also, the deer in the second photo is named Hiro! He’s Levi’s loyal, which is basically just a Foranon version of a familiar.

some backstory for faron

when Faron was around 30 (around 15ish in human years) iorveth found them wandering around in the forest of flotsam. 

tw: neglect (briefly mentioned), violence (not graphic, but its there) 

they had been left behind by their family who couldnt take care of them anymore as times got harder and harder for elves, and after that he was lost and very confused, and they had no money or anything to take care of themself. 

naturally, iorveth took them in immediately because war criminal or not, hes not going to leave a child (especially an elven one) to die in the woods. Faron doesn’t really trust iorveth at first, because iorveths a 7 foot tall armed elf with a massive scar on his face and is featured on many wanted posters. however, faron goes with him anyway because what choice does he really have. 

so iorveth leads faron into camp and is like. if you need anything let me know. ill show you around camp. and faron just sorta sticks to iorveth like glue. then he meets cedric (who hasnt left the scoia’tael quite yet) and is like. u seem nice. 

they really only talk to cedric and iorveth for the first few months bc some of the other scoiatael are like. why the fuck do we have a child with us, and think faron should be sent to live in lodinden to live a normal life. 

about a year later, when the scoiatael is raiding nilfgaardian transports and getting supplies (on a big enough run where everyone is needed to attack), a gang of humans finds the scoiatael camp. faron, who is not part of the scoiatael and a literal child, cannot fight, but does his best to protect the camp and hide as much stuff as he can. luckily, the scoiatael come back just as one of the humans has faron backed up against a rock wall with a knife to his throat. iorveth was beyond pissed. not only does he very much care for foran, but they are an unarmed innocent child, and the humans see no problem in killing them. 

iorveths tempted to kill the humans, but his commando has that covered, and iorveth gets to foran and just sorta holds him so he cant see whats happening and so he feels safer then he would otherwise. faron is just in shock and is very much not having a good time, and iorveth does his best to calm them down. it doesnt really work, but its better than nothing.

after that foran sticks to iorveths side and refuses to be alone. which iorveth understands and tries to respect, but hes still the leader of the scoiatael, and so on raids and things foran is left behind with a few members of the scoiatael (usually cedric, but cedrics... not doing great...and is more of a healer than a fighter at this point), but they usually hide in iorveths room until iorveth comes back. 

iorveth ends up teaching him how to fight, and while it helps some, its still not perfect and sometimes foran cannot fight because their mind just keeps going back to the raid.

it takes months for foran to be able to leave camp without panicking, and even then, he really cant go out alone. thats when cedric starts taking them to town in hopes that meeting ordinary people will help him understand that not everyone is out to hurt them. 

it works and foran also ends up getting a gf!

Saying Farewell to 2017 with a Preview of What’s to Come

with surprisingly little spoilers XD

TLDR; I’ve got shit planned for this year and I hope to get to it all. HAPPY NEW YEARS GUYS!!! :D

From a creative aspect, 2017 was a worse year overall for me than the previous year. I had so many plans, so many stories that I wanted to tell, but a mixture of laziness and falling ill (for approximately a month and a half, but the days weren’t consecutive) to that trap I like to call “like envy,” and me simply not enjoying some of the stories that I wanted to tell made it so that I wasn’t able to progress my stories as I had hoped. As a result I posted way less this year than I did the previous year.

It didn’t help that for vast stretches of the year some of the people that I would talk with about our stories/characters/character backgrounds/etc. kinda just didn’t talk to me. So... That was rather rough, and combined with the fact that my stories for a while didn’t seem like they were going over well with my (supposed)* 800+ followers made my drive to put out content rather... Low.

HOWEVER, I’ve never been a popular/big-name person in the Skyrim community. So after I let all that bs pass, I felt like I kicked it up a gear in the latter half of the year. And although I wasn’t able to push some of the stories forward that I wanted to, I was able to introduce you all to my Rising Stars series that’s honestly been a freeing experience for me creatively.

But fuck all that noise, with the year ending here’s my plans (as long as I do fuck all again) on what everyone can look forward to in 2018:

I plan to finish Trace this year. As far as my original outline for the story goes, it’s near the end anyway and I just kinda didn’t want to let it go yet... But it wouldn’t be fair to anyone if I deaded the story because of such selfishness... So I won’t.

The Story of Sorerica will OFFICIALLY begin this year, and I’m hyped for that. If you didn’t know, Sorerica is my Dragonborn and well other than her cameos in my Flame-Child story and my Rising Stars series, she’s only been seen rather rarely on my blog. So I’m looking forward to focusing on her. :D

There’s one story that I REALLY want to tell, it’s called Cross Worlds. In my head it’s going to be one giant ass crossover story that I’ve been slowly trying to build towards with all my stories. The main issue though is that I need for Trace, Red Witch, and Never Leave Regrets to be over before I can even begin it. So... Hopefully all of those things happen this year. ^_^ (it probably won’t :\)

Speaking of Red Witch, I feel like we’re about midway though the story, and other than me needing to fill in a few gaps here and there I feel like the story has been progressing rather nicely and seems to be getting received rather positively, so I thank you all for that. :D

With the start and continuation of my Rising Stars series, I believe that it’s time to officially say that I am going to have to scrap a few of my stories so that they may be revamped and assimilated into the series (which will make it easier for me to work on them to be honest). These stories include The Blazingsai Invitational, Deus Ex, Dark Uprising, and possibly others.

Although I’ve recently done chapters for World Tour and Breaking One’s Shell, I cannot say for sure whether or not I am going to keep them separate from Rising Stars This is for two reasons. 1) Arianne would work well in the Rising Stars format seeing as she just heads off to random places to challenge people in the first place, so the World Tour has a high probability of being integrated. And 2) I honestly hate writing on Breaking One’s Shell. It might be because public nudity, especially a focus on it and how it’s to be cultivated isn’t something that I wish to do. So I don’t plan on scrapping it, but it’d be easier for me if I integrated it into my Rising Stars series, that way I could do like 1 part at a time and feel okay about it rather than having to do 4+ parts at a time and feeling terrible.

After I finish the arc I am currently on with them, both Sai and Madina & Light and Shadow are highly likely candidates to be merged with Rising Stars as well (mainly because both started out as, and are essentially side stories that would work pretty good in the Rising Stars format).

I hope to be more engaged with you all and promptly reply to anything that I receive from you guys. I’ve been kinda slacking on that, and I apologize for that. :(
