I feel like if a clone somehow became force sensitive, or something happend to the chip that was suppressing the force sensitivity, then theyd be able to sense Palpatines force pressence.
I dont know if its canon, legends or fandom, but i see often that the reason the Jedi were never able to sense Palpatine is because he did something or has some artifact that completely nulls his force signature to other force users.
But that never really made sense to me, especially since EVERYTHNG is supposed to be connected to the force and therefore, should have a presence in the force.
So if the murder raisin had a way to null his precence, wouldnt the Jedi be like "yo why this senetor's force signiture so dim/non existant?"
What if instead, Palpatine slowly exposed the jedi/coruscant as a whole to his more dark force signiture, to the point hes able to just have basic shielding and the Jedi see nothing wrong in the force because "its always been like that"
Like how people can expose themseves to small amounts of poison over a long period of time and become immune. The Jedi just got used to the growing darkness.
But this is where the clones come in! Imagine you just became force sensitive in the middle of a war. There would be a lot of negative emotions and darkness, yes, but there would still be light (especially if you are far from Coruscant). You have the bonds of your brthers, the kindness and hope and resilliance of the civilians you are helping. Yeah, theres still plenty of light.
And then you do go back to coruscant for leave or something, and somehow the place thats supposed to be the shining beacon of the Republic, a safe place, is more dark than the active war zone you just came from.
And imagine if that clone somehow came close to the chancellor. All it would take really is just one simple question to a Jedi and suddenly, all of Palpatine's plans crumble.
Jedi start to question, start to realize and look deeper. The older ones start to remember what the force felt like before, and wonder, "when did the force start to turn sickly?"
And it all started because one clone, who happened to become force sensitive, dared ask the question,
"Why does he feel like death?"
