i looove your headcanon about Armand learning Hindi to reconnect w his childhood and I hope he'd take it up again at some point. He could combine this desire with his love of cinema to become fixated on Indian films. sometimes during a random movie some image or line of dialogue will trigger a very faded memory, like when Alice plays with the mistress' jewelry in Monsoon Wedding and the way she folds her sari over her head suddenly flashes him back to a woman who *might* have been his mother

I also imagine him hearing a traditionally hindi lullaby, and he goes back to when his mother sang to him when she put him in bed.
Or the prayers! I think he is Hindu (but I can also see Muslim) and he might remembered how they prayed in a beautiful Mandir once
I also think this whole thing would be very private to him, especially at first. Even though I think Louis especially would actually be very supportive of this.
