A California man is accused of forcing his pregnant girlfriend to have a miscarriage. Police say that Jagmeet Sandhu, 23, held his girlfriend at gunpoint and forced her to take numerous unidentified pills. The woman then went to the hospital, where she lost her unborn child. Officials did not say how far along the woman was in her pregnancy.

I feel dumb for being so upset about a baby I didn't even know I had lost until 2 years later. I just wanna know what the gender was...how many weeks old they were when I miscarried...I did so many things wrong. I just wish I could've done some of the normal mom stuff. They would be having their second birthday soon.

When I was 16 I forced miscarriage at home and 2 years later it still haunts me. It was so dangerous and I'm lucky nothing major happened to me. I wish abortion had just been legal without parental consent in my state so I wouldn't have felt forced to take that risk, because telling my parents was out of the question. My heart goes out to people in my situation and much much worse ones. Pro-life people need to understand that reducing abortion access will take more lives than it will save lives.
