I just had a thought...
Remember that bully who told Stan and Ford that they wouldn't be able to get any friends at all, so they should be happy to have each other?
Well, after Stan got kicked out , Ford was all alone until he got to college and became friends with Fiddleford.
But Stanley spent all that time all alone without any true friends until he got his brother back.
