I don't think this exactly fits the theme, but I can garuntee you that's how Kieran felt during this scene.

“Because it’s between breakfast and lunch,” Kieran answered quickly, “Now as I was saying—”

“But why is it called brunch, and not like, early lunch or late breakfast. I mean brunch just sounds sort of pretentious if you ask me.” Kieran looked like he was about to jump out a window, which only encouraged me. “I mean it’s like, ‘Oh, I’m so fancy,” My voice was high and mocking, and I did my best at making myself sound Atlantian, but the strange lilt was hard to imitate, “I’m going to brunch. Not breakfast, not lunch, no BRUNCH, because I’m special and I—”

I gasped as something cold and wet was dumped all over me, and looked up to find Kieran pouring the remains of his water all over my head.

“Number one,” he said, grabbing another glass to dump over me, “That is not even remotely close to what my accent sounds like. Number two,” He looked me dead in the eyes, smirking as he poured another glass of water over me. I was so shocked I didn’t even try to move away, “I think you should go and change before the meeting.”
