a busy week! I had my first assignment to mark as a TA but I got that done already as we only have a week turnaround time 🧑‍💻 I also have a written proposal due next week so that was my other big time consumer 😅 I've gotten most of it done, I just need the final edits!

next Friday though 🫠 I have a midterm, the proposal due, and two other assignments due so I'll be busy busy again! luckily it's a long weekend for Thanksgiving 🇨🇦 so I'll get a little extra time with my family to relax. I also have some fun plans with my boyfriend for this afternoon so I'm very excited for this weekend 🥰

I also have found that I love the "Classical Bangers 2025" playlist from Spotify 😂 it's got a really nice mix of things for studying and otherwise hanging out :)

It's FOREST FRIDAY!

Feb. 9, 2024. I think one thing I should mention is my tags might be a little weird, lol.

I count most things that aren't rotting away in bed or on my phone as productivity so instead of subjects I have everything is broader categories.

This week was a great week! 🎉 I like that I'm really starting a pace here, being productive for at least 2 hrs daily. That I'm recording, anyway.

happy forest friday!!!! I've actually started working on assignments this week so I have some subjects on the board 😅 I'm making some great headway on one of my cmput assignments so I'm looking forward to finishing it soon 😊

I've been getting back into some old favourite music this week too, so I've been listening to a lot of Delta Rae, Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco

my second-last forest friday of the year 🥹 next week it'll be on Tuesday because that's when I'm done 😂🥳

I'm 3/4 of the way through my finals now, just one left on Tuesday. They've gone well so far. 413 was a weird as I expected, but I've already passed the class, I just hope the prof doesn't mark too harshly. 204 was what I expected too. I wrote both 413 and 204 on Monday so I was quite tired by the end of it 😭 but I managed to do as much as I could and I'm pretty solid in 204 💪 361 was a piece of cake 🍰 my prof wants us to all do well so we pretty much knew what was going to be on it 😅 I appreciate him for that lol. 371 is left and all the questions will be from the profs question bank so I just gotta do as much as I can!

can y'all tell I had a big assignment due today 😂 I also only planted pink trees in my forest this week and it turned out super cute!! maybe I'll try only orange plants next week for the start of October 😊 this week has just flown by and I'm very excited to for my plans this weekend!

for books this week, I finished reading Heavenly Bodies by Imani Erriu and Assembly by Natasha Brown. such great reads! I flew through them! I'm currently working on a review for Heavenly Bodies and still the one for A Day of Fallen Night 😅

Delta Rae released a surprise song last week and it's very good, y'all should definitely check it out 😌

forest friday again! apparently I studied for 14 hours less this week 💀 I guess that's what happens when you have no midterms and no grading to do lol

I was hoping to have my 201 assignment done tonight, but I've got a weird bug. I'll look at it with fresh eyes tomorrow :)

I did very well on one midterm from last Wednesday, still waiting for the marks from the one on last Friday 📝

I started reading The Exorcist as a way to get into the scary season, but it's not very scary right now 🤔 I'm hoping it'll pick up. for a book with the tag line "the most terrifying novel ever written" I hope to get a little frightened!

I also want to start working on my Halloween costume this weekend! it'll be DIY, I have to do some hand sewing to fix up a dress I already have to fit a character. I'll post photos when it's done! 🤭

I think this weekend will bring me some rest and I hope it does for the rest of y'all 🫶
