On April 21st, 2017, we found my cousin dead in his bathroom. He had lost his long battle with heroin. And it has been one of the absolute hardest things my family and I have gone through. So much sadness, guilt, anger, helplessness. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I hope and pray that others fighting this fight do anything they can to make it to another day. I hope their families never turn their back on them, even when sometimes you want to so bad. They need us there with them, no matter what they say. I miss you Michael and I love you so much.

He had just been released from hospital for his suicide attempt yesterday afternoon. Found dead that same night. It definitely was not an accidental overdose. My heart is broken. He deserved so much more than this.
