He still fucking owns my soul and is my #1 Husband and the character I compare everyone I date with.
I loved seeing him through Nesta’s eyes, because it checks with what we know about him and it’s nice to see those characteristics through the eyes of someone who is not in love with him and doesn’t like him. It balances really well with how Cassian narrates him -which is from a place of familial love and respect-.
Even though, I do not agree with how he viewed Nesta I can understand why he did and why he treated her the way he did. I think we finished the book knowing that he will make a fucking effort and have a better relationship with her and Nesta.. well she now sees him as a brother so we good on that front. It makes me happy to know that in future books we might see them interact on better terms.
I love to see him as a husband and imagining him as a dad really did things to me and normally I’m not one to look at a dude being a good father and go “HOT”, so like just for Rhys.
The moment he kneeled to Nesta when she saved Feyre and Nyx: Beautiful, 12/10, would fucking recommend. Because he would kneel for no one except for his crown, his mate and the sister in law who fucking saved the day. We love to see it.
Edit: I do hope we can see some repercussions of him not telling Feyre about the pregnancy, because even though his heart was in the right place his logic was off. I kinda want to see the fight when she learnt this and him apologizing because he realizes the full extent of the implications of him withholding this information from her. I do agree he did it because he wanted to find a solution before talking to her about it and because he wanted to save her from the pain, guilt and of being scared.... but like hopefully we will get some acknowledgement of this in the future.
