Those fruits are called cenepas!! They grow all over the place in the Caribbean. You bite the shell off and suck on the seed thats surround by that orange flesh! They're really fun and really sweet!

Hi I was wondering if you had seen any sewing patterns available that I could use for a Thranduil cosplay? I've scoured my options and haven't seen anything. I don't want to give up on this one please.
Perhaps someone who has made a Thranduil costume can weigh in here? Check the notes on this to see if someone responded, and if not you might want to poke some cosplayers and ask what pattern they used (if any). I did come across this post which uses Simplicity 5386, it's a Neo costume coat and lots of people swear by the pattern for a large variety of costumes. So it may be a good starting point :) Keep in mind that most commercial patterns need to be altered (at least to some degree) to work for cosplay! Hope this helps.
