I really feel proud of this one!
This character is called Forey Silvercloud, it's an OC created by me, for the project "UNI"
From Daredevil #610, “Pistanthrophobia”
Art by Phil Noto
Written by Charles Soule
As the arrows shoot through the air, Iso tries to cover for Beast, Reader and his dog, Forey. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work when Iso, Beast and the poor dog got hit by arrows. Meanwhile, Triton and Medusa managed to fend off the oncoming arrows.
- Uncanny Inhumans #3, 2015
Frank: “Reader, this is nuts! You’re blind!”
Reader: “Forey’s not, though. I’m seeing through his eyes. My powers, remember? You’ve seen me do this trick before. As long as he keeps his eyes on the road, we’re fine.”
Frank: “And if he sees a squirrel?”
Reader: “Nah. He’s a good dog. We’ve practiced this. He knows what to do. Right, Forey? You’re a good dog, aren’t you?”
Forey: “Whf!”
Daredevil vol. 5 #610 by Charles Soule and Phil Noto
Reader and his literal seeing-eye dog.
As much as I love when Matt drives, I also enjoyed him just sitting in the back for this car chase.
Inhuman of The Day
April 16th - Forey
Reader’s dog, companion, and often-times conduit through which he uses his powers. It is unclear whether or not Forey is just a regular dog, or if he had been exposed to the Terrigen Mists such as the case with Lockjaw. Comments made be Reader appear to suggest that the former is most likely the case. Foray and Reader share a special bond. They can communicate telepathically. Reader is blind yet he is able to use his powers to see through Foray’s eyes. Reader has demonstrated a number of different powers and some of them have manifested through Foray.
When pursuing the rogue Inhuman known as The Capo, the villain was forced to flee by way of possessing Forey’s body and running off. This possession appeared to gravely wound Forey as the Capo’s energies quickly burned off his life energies. Reader was ultimately able to save Forey and The Capo was destroyed. It appears that Reader then used his powers to heal Forey. Comments that Reader made in another adventure suggests that Forey may have died at some point and was resurrected by way of Reader’s powers. Hopefully we will learn more about Forey in subsequent tales. He is a very good dog…
