City of Forges

unseen to the basalt buildings on the outer mountain, (well ventilated, yet warm). are the cliff clinging stairway, or ramp, winds down along the inner sides of this hollow mountain. their are building built into the mountain, which all have a vent hole leading many meters outside of the mountain. There is a city in the central island, far too hot for simple ventilation to make it bearable. The Island, is hard to breath on, extremely hot, and all the stone will burn u after 6 seconds. water is necessary every hour (else exhaustion) and a full day will cause coughing all day tomorrow. The central isle is full of the fire goliaths who are immune to the smoke and can move comfortably in the heat. The forges here are the famous ones, where legendary smiths make a masterpiece every day.

it takes an hour to move all the way around and down the spirallling ramp, and reach The Island of Masters.

I finally broke down and bought some of the new forge father's models and wow they're so much better than the old ones. Even the cannon color scheme looks nice.
