so if I could rewrite s3 (this post would be really long, BUT) one thing that always bothered me was Forrest leaving at the end of 3x01 on a book tour when he and Alex end up working in the same place??? like why instead Forrest should have warned Alex about becoming isolated by working at Deep Sky but Alex convinces him that they can still see each other and make it work and we see them still dating exclusively during the first 3 episodes (imagine how insane the burn the world down scene would be if Alex was still dating Forrest at the time) then we don't see them during episodes 4-5 and when they come back in 3x06 we see that they are having problems because Alex is never around and is working way too much to the point of it being unhealthy and dangerous and what Forrest feared would happen does end up happening and it's not working because Alex can't be totally honest with him they break up then in 3x07 maybe someone mentions not having heard from Alex (cause you know he was kinda kidnapped for a hot minute) but chalks it up to Alex not wanting to see anyone right now Michael: why? (I'm gonna say Liz cause I think she was the one to talk to Alex most recently): cause he and Forrest broke up Michael (pretending not to be affected): oh? cue 3x08 and the rest of the season no?
I just need you all to know I'm never getting over Forlex. Thank you.
