New PAN Application Form 49A and Form 49AA Notified by CBDT
New PAN application form 49A, 49AA Notified: Documents required to apply PAN card Modified
CBDT (Central Board of Direct Taxes) has notified New Pan Application Form 49A (to be filed by Indian resident) and Form 49AA (to be filed by resident outside India). These forms are to be used for applying new PAN card. These new formats of PAN card replaces old format of form 49A and 49AA.
Aadhar Card has been added in the list of documents required to apply for new PAN card or to amend PAN card. Now Aadhar card can be used for ID as well as residential address proof for PAN application purpose.
