Stiles lay on the couch, leaning on Derek as they and the rest of the pack watched a movie. He absently kissed Derek’s clothed shoulder, this movie wasn’t exactly a favorite of his so he was getting a bit bored.

On the inside, his head was screaming at him, telling him to stop. To tell her it was all an ill thought out plan to protect her. But he willed his mind away.

Hope looked at Derek as if he had gone insane. “Stop crying? Stop crying? You fucking cheated on me!” She screamed, throwing the lamp on the night stand. “I’m sorry that I am a little upset about finding out the guy I love, cheated one me. Stiles paced around her bedroom, she had just taken the test.  It was positive, the next step would be telling Derek and her father.  Both scared her so much, it wasn't supposed to happen like this.  The message sat unsent on her phone and as she chewed at a nail, she would much rather face down berserkers at this moment than deal with this.  She couldn't look as she hit the send button and the text went out into the world.
