This is fate. That damn thread of life that dictates that things have to go like this. Sometimes they can be beautiful, sometimes they can be ugly, but this time fate has given us a wonderful image. Of course Seb had to have a magnificent race today and get on the podium at the last corner of the last lap, because he had to be part of Lewis' seventh title. Two legends, two multiple world champions, eleven world titles shaking hands after years of rivalry and entertainment. A unique gesture of its kind, an inimitable whirlwind of emotions that we will never see again. But we enjoyed it, it will enter the archives of the history of sport, because the German and the English are together on the podium, with tears in their eyes. They have done a lot and still want to contribute to making F1 a sport that goes beyond cars, but which penetrates our souls. Who knows what they said, from great friends but also from great rivals.
