Now Magnus has seen some cool armor, especially in Fantasy Costco, but this took the cake. The armored out person, whatever they were, was decked out in a steely blue armor with, what Magnus thought was, the biggest set of horns he’d every seen. Even during the race there weren’t people with big ol’ horns on their masks, which was kind of a tragedy now that Magnus thought about it. They were missing out on this. The fighter wasted no time in talking to the stranger.
“Hey man-- gal, whatever. I like your armor, where’d you get it? Especially the helmet.” Specifically the helmet.
👋 To be fair it's the easier thing on King Knight for Shovel to reach height wise.

Few people could grab at the King’s royal booty bongo’s and survive to tell the grand tale. Shovel Knight was certainly high on that list, and if the shock itself wasn’t enough, then how “gentle” the smack itself was was enough to leave him blinking rapidly and furrowing brows.

Is King Knight laying on the ground?? Something must be wrong! Is it a sickness?? Is that why everyone is yelling??? “Augustus!” Shovel kneels down to give the fool’s shoulders a shake.

Shake his shoulder all you want--but it seems better to get him to stop kicking his leggy up at an almost perfect 90 degree angle.

It wasn’t anything too impressive. Some items bought at the local hardware store, others collected from garbage, but enough for Samuel to have somehow managed to siphon some energy from the apartments around him. Unluckily enough, whomever lived nearby one of many empty apartments he’d stashed himself into for test runs seemed extremely unhappy with his tomfoolery.
Blue meets blue in this battle of silent staring until Samuel succumbs to the request and unplugs his machine. The apartment complex seemed empty enough upon arrival, but... Perhaps he could find somewhere else quieter to continue his work.
Standing seemed like a horrendous option given how short and stocky this... “Knight” appeared. Saving himself the trouble of a neck ache later on, he remains seated for the time being.
“ Are there any other complaints I should be made aware of? Now would be the time to inform me before I take my leave. It’s vital I know the current effects my current project causes so I’m capable of sorting them out before it’s completely finished... A necessary precaution, if you will. ”
