So I got some new markers....

And like the grown child I am I decided to color my drawings with them lol.

Some I really like! Some.... I have regrets lol.

Also while coloring I made a new Night Light @3@

I realize Lunafreya looks a lot like @justjacksart, but here me out! Ever since I saw HTTYD 3 in theaters I had wanted to make my own Night Light. But I was stuck, I wasn't sure what to design them after so I defaulted to taking animals with black and white coloring, and slapping it onto a night light. However soon after saying, "Oh I can make an Orca one!" I immediately trashed the idea because I thought people would think it was stupid or uncreative so I pushed it aside and took a look at horses.

However, even after making the horse-inspired designs, I was still worried people would think there were stupid and I didn't bother posting them.

That is until I searched the HTTYD OC tag and stumbled on @justjacksart very own Blacklight. From there I was inspired and all previously mentioned doubts were thrown out the window because, hello??? Blacklight looked awsome!

Though even after uploading my gaggle of Night Lights, the Orca idea was still nagging at the back of my mind, and last night I said "Fuck it".

She was supposed to be a male OC, but uhh....

Whoops old habits die hard, and she's a girl now. Believe me when I say I tried so hard to not make her look like Blacklight while still staying true to the way Orcas look. In my desperate attempt I gave her socks and she was supposed to have a white diamond marking on the back of her neck where a blowhole might be but in my drawing and erasing of her dorsal fin I erased it and forgot to add it back on when I colored the darn picture X_X

May I just add on that when I was little I used to draw Orcas a lot, and I mean A LOT. Like my mom's work space and out fridge, and my room walls were littered with drawings of a pod of Killer Whales. There were my default thing to draw before I started drawing Night/Light Fury's.

And that concludes my desperate plead to the OC gods, and asking them not to smite me.

MOVING ON

I made a rough sketch of Daddy Omen making sure his babies get fed.

I wish I had a bigger sketch book, this thing was hard to draw in that tiny little thing. It's like a little bigger than 1/4th the size of a normal sketchbook.
