Iiaat to be unsure about how your body feels? I can't tell if this is a part of alexithymia or not. It's kind of like when people ask if something getting better, perhaps stomach troubles or maybe breathing problems or feeling sick or if something hurts, I don't really know if it's better or not. I don't quite... know how to tell. I just know I'm supposed to have an answer.
This sounds like hyposensitivity to interoception, which is basically a fancy way of saying you’re less sensitive to signals about what’s going on in your body. This would be related to autistic sensory issues, so yes.
Alexithymia is difficulty identifying your emotions, rather than physical sensations.
