Since i left the husband

my gums have stopped bleeding

my eczema has cleared up completely

I'm actually sleeping and no longer exhausted all the time

I no longer have intrusive thoughts of dying

It's only been a little over two months

11 am progress and Pretzel break.

The kitchen has also had significant progress but it still looks like a diaster so that picture can wait. Boxes have definitely become more random assortments of shit than anything, but whatever gets it to the new place works for me.

TGIF to the highest degree.

I'm low-key crashing out about moving/ apartment hunting. The one I'm going to see tomorrow keeps me in the city I prefer but is in the... least desirable part of town. By wide margin. But it's all inclusive and under my budget. In the city I want to live in.

The one I'm seeing on Sunday is in the town I lived in before. I don't actually mind it at all but it doubles my commute. And gas is so expensive right now. It's not all inclusive but should still be within my budget after considering the utilities. But it doubles my commute.

It's the first weekend of looking and realistically I still have time but I am so concerned about not being able to find something that it feels like the end of the world.

Hate these pictures because why is my hair like that ✨️ but yknow, proof that I went outside this morning. It is a beautiful morning. The best kind of winter days are the ones where it's not too cold and the sun is shining.

Anyways, took Charles out, did the dishes, took the garbage out. Completed the depressing task of separating B and I's cards out. Bought a new shadow box to replace the one I accidentally broke so she can take it without the dried flowers disintegrating. And now I just need to shower, which I should've done before sitting down but yknow. Coral island calls to me.

Went for a walk after work which meant Pretzel was very angry at me when I finally got home. I desperately want to get her a friend, but I think it would be irresponsible. Maybe in the new year. In the meantime I'll torture myself looking at adoption ads in my area.

I move in exactly two weeks. Still debating getting rid of my bed frame. I don't think I'll be able to replace it any time soon and don't just want my mattress on the floor. Even if it also needs to be replaced... I think I'm going to stuff the clothes I don't wear regularly into a box.

I need to order more of Pretzel's wet food in the morning. Call the movers to confirm what time they'll be here on the day. Work on audit prep.
