Scraped by this week and got a pattern done on time! Between Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving sale shop stuff, Dolly purge sales, this was tough, woo!

Very interesting that Medium and Medium Curvy had no overlap in most popular patterns even though most of the patterns fit both body shapes. Enjoy :)
Happy Friday! This week’s pattern is lush <3 Usually by the time I finish a pattern, I’m pretty tired of it, but this is one of the ones I’m already planning to make more for my own dolls.

This week’s pattern is Fantasy Tops in slim MSD size!
Though I don’t have any half-human dolls to demo it on, that’s what this style was designed for. Cropped tops that can be worn alone or with elegant draping skirts in various styles that work well over human, mermaid, or even centaur lower halves!
Remember, Patterns =/= pre made clothes!
In the Slim 1/4 size, the variations I have to accommodate are… vast. For example, Luts Kid Delfs are on the ‘bigger’ end and have small boobs and a not especially curvy torso. I think of them as a modern, athletic body type. Minifees are not much shorter, but much more delicately made and curvier. I think of them as a vintage pinup body shape. Then there’s dolls like Fashion Royalty, with body shapes that are skinny of limb and dramatically drawn in at the waist. I think of those as ‘doll shaped’ because there is no natural equivalent. ALL of these dolls can be clothed equally well with the Slim 1/4 size. I build in alternate cut marks for different body types and sizes to work with the widest range of dolls possible.
