It was much of a normal day for Jade. Personally, he disliked having things interfere with the work he had to do but they seemed to interfere anyway. Rumours had been going around and Jade did not like it when his subordinates decided to gossip like little girls, as it made his head hurt. Despite this, it did seem as if they decided to whisper about another thing that was going on as Jade did his paperwork. They were whispering quite loudly and bugging him enormously because of this, with Jade getting up out of his chair and going to speak to them.

This was the supreme reason he was not at work today. The rumours had reached the Emperor's ears and he had sent Jade out of any person that he could choose on a hunt to dispel the rumour. The rumour in question was of a Gald Vendor, who gave random gald to those they met and vanished after. A very strange yet very impossible rumour to place in the ‘Debunk’ files. Jade knew it was impossible even if he could not go back at the moment to tell Peony that it was just a very much stupid rumour made by children.

He stopped walking.

“Do you plan on following me all day? Waiting for me to let my guard down so you might mug an old man?”

Tien, however powerful she may be compared to the next human, was certainly not anywhere near the same level of strength as Goku or Vegeta. Nor could she cook like Yamcha or have enough money to buy luxurious meals like Bulma. So to have Whis show up at her farm, even without Lord Beerus, took her by complete and total surprise.

In fact, the first minute following Whis appearing, quite literally, in the middle of her garden, she just stared at him before jumping to attention, dusting herself off as best she could as she rushed to the deity, carefully avoiding as many of her still growing tomato plants as she could. Hopefully the god would ignore her disheveled  appearance- her braid was coming loose and her clothes sweat stained after spending most of the day out tending to her crops.

“Whis-sama.” She greeted the blue-skinned man, bowing her upper body slightly as she did in a show of respect. “Is there something I can help you with?”
