So watched Uncle Frank and I really liked it. [SPOILER ALERT] Maybe I’m a sucker for a happy ending but I adored the ending where most Frank’s family accepted him and the symbolism of his mom accepting him while sitting in the same chair where his father rejected him was a nice touch.

Frank and Wally were great. I really liked that even though they couldn’t get legally married that they still were married and Frank’s necklace stood in for a wedding ring. I think we should call the ship Frally because I’m pretty sure Wank is already taken ;)

My every breath felt cursed, visible in the evening air. The scent of cold and wet earth grew stronger at each step, a warning to pick up the pace. All the while, my body ached, the punches and kicks I just took to the stomach and face making me second guess my years of boxing. I swear I regret even existing. Seriously. This has got to be illegal.

I am absolutely an idiot for this.

Whatever though. I just have to get home before those clouds get too gray. Nothing more, nothing less.

With my feet absolutely killing me, I dragged on along the cracked sidewalk, staring at the street corner I had to get to, only to turn and walk some more. A driver's license would have been amazing by now. Anything but this. Anything. At. All.

As I was complaining inside of my head, being a ‘negative Nancy' as Fry loves to call me, I felt something drop on my shoulder. Groaning at how I was still sweating, I went to wipe the back of my neck only for it to hit my other shoulder. And my head. And my head again.

Glaring at the still bright and sunny sky, I wondered if I could fight it next as droplets started trickling down, splashing on my bruised cheek. When I was silently questioning when I would get a water break earlier, I sure as hell wasn't talking about this.

God damnit!

Before I could storm off more aggressively than the rain, a car horn sounded from right beside me. As I snapped my head over, I saw a familiar older but well working sort of off brand Jeep. The windows were fully covered unless you wanted otherwise (like the passenger one right now), but the trunk was out in the open, a definite danger if you're ever getting gunned down for some reason.

“Need a ride, negative Nancy?”

Without a word, I opened the door and tossed my bag on the floor. Letting out a sign of relief, I climbed inside, leaning my head back as I shut the door.

“Talk about great timing,”he remarked, a teasing smile audible in his voice.

“Yeah. Talk about great timing.”
