Day 4 ā Favorite underrated scene or quote: Coulsonās framework speech
how dare the Framework make me have feelings about Grant Ward against my will
CAN YāALL STOP REBLOGGING THAT SCENE YOU KNOW WHICH ONE IāM TALKING ABOUT AND IT HURTS SO BAD.

Me, an intellectual: The Framework
AoS 30 Day Challenge - Day 21: Favorite season 4 moment
āBecause the truth is, Iām not just a history teacher... my name, is Phil Coulson, and Iām an agent of shield.ā
As Jake Peralta once said, chills, literal chills. I love this scene soo much, and every time I see it I still get goosebumps. As Iāve said, I love the framework because itās so well written, and this is one of the moments that tips it off. The stakes again were high at this moment. The patriot had just died and he was getting blamed for Hydraās acts. The team was still trapped, trying to get out now that they are fugitives, and Madame Hydra was super close to become omg a real person. Coulson was right, maybe they needed to save the people so that they could save themselves, and thanks to this moment things stated looking up. It was so emotional to see Coulson give his speech because it just embodies everything great of shield. It shows that they are the defenders, and that they are willing to make the sacrifice, to do whatever it takes for the greater good.
And then Burrows comes in and tells Ward that the people outside are here to help them fight. It reminds me of s6 when May said that thereās something about humans, which is that they always fight back. I donāt know why but it just fills me with happiness every time something like that is said, because itās almost like it gives you strength in your actual, real life.
This scene here reflects how much Shield has impacted lives. And I donāt only mean as in the agency in the show, but how the show itself has changed lifeās and brought us all together and ahh. I know it sounds super cheesy but I love this show with all my heart and it truly felt like a speech directed to the real people watching the show, almost like a message of hope (and I think it was the time when the president had just been elected in the US, which makes it so much more important)
AoS 30 Day Challenge - Day 11: favorite villain
AIDA/Madame Hydra/Ophelia. If Iām being honest, I was trying to choose between her and Ward. I feel like his betrayal was when I really started getting into the show, and he was such an interesting villain to watch since he obviously had this backstory with the team and great chemistry with the cast. However, when I think about āvillain that annoyed me the most which means itās a pretty well done villainā, then thatās Aida.
As so many people have pointed out, Mallory did a great job playing all these different characters and she really made Aida feel real. I like the whole robot storyline, since I really liked ex-machine and those types of sci-fi films. It was great to see her at first, pure and used for good, and her dynamic with the team who werenāt aware she wasnāt human was great (the scenes in 4x04 with both May and Coulson are super funny!). Of course everything went to shit because we canāt have nice things, but even as a villain her fight for free will and how twisted everything she did was, I still thing it was such a well written storyline. She really does make you hate her and yet some times (SOME) times feel for her. Later on she obviously deserves what happens to her, she goes completely ballistic and thereās also the whole consent thing which is something we could talk about entirely on its own.
To me sheās the best written villain, with an interesting arc from start to finish and motives that felt real, which I guess makes her my favorite villain overall.
AoS 30 Day Challenge - Day 15: saddest death
The death of the patriot/Mace in the FW. Okay, hear me out. Fitzās death was super sad, it was so emotional and Iām not going to say I didnāt cry. The thing is, when I watched it, I already knew 1. That it was going to happen and 2. That he was in s6, so it didnāt hit me that hard.
I chose Mace not because I will miss him the most, or because I cared (I didnāt dislike him but like I didnāt care that much either). However, think about this moment in the show. It happened in the framework arc. Now I can appreciate it but when u watched it, it hurt so much I just wanted it to end. Every episode in the fw was an emotional roller coaster, I was super sad about Fitz and Fitzsimmons, I missed the team being the actual team, all in all I was just upset. And then Maceās death happens. The scene is super dramatic and is so well acted, everyone looks heartbroken when they realize what is happening, Jemma is just sobbing when Coulson forces her out because she knows this means they lost one. And then, the thing that just completely destroyed me, the music. The sad shield music when we see the building collapse, when Jemma is crying, when it finally sinks in that they werenāt able to save them all... it just makes me so sad to think about it and honestly cheers to the cast for being so amazing, because it really pulled at my heartstrings.
Also thanks to @3cf for trying to guess who it was, hope you werenāt disappointedš
