DoingSomething takes speed dating to new heights in London.
A great stunt took place tonight (Thursday 28th Feb) at the London Eye, whereby 250 single men, and 250 single women were randomly shoved into the themed capsules for a speed dating experience like no other.
The themes ranged from ping pong and silent disco to karaoke and cabaret.
Women’s tickets sold out early, with mens available until today still – priced at £29. After, you got to know your new friends better at the after-party which was included in the admission price, and you even got a one month subscription to DoingSomething.co.uk – which you would hopefully use to do something with your new match.
The stunt was supported by the hashtag #WheelOfDatewith many people using it as a great opportunity to check out who will be going, and what to expect. People have been using it all night to post pictures and tweets about people in the capsule, and @FancyDoingSomething? has been replying and engaging with everyone.
Here's a little video:
The stunt was created by Frank PR.

A great read on Brand Republic. Guess I'm spreading the word, the article's had a positive reaction from me! (Plus I Interned there, so I'm biased)
PROMOTIONAL FEATURE
PR Essays: Frank PR - The rules of reaction
By Graham Goodkind, chairman and founder of Frank PR.
PR should really stand for public reactions, because provoking a response from consumers is what brands are about these days - and only PR people can effectively manage the myriad possibilities.
Given a blank sheet of paper and the need to come up with 620 words about something PR-related, I'm struggling; I'm distracted too easily. There's just so much else happening: phones ringing, emails pinging into my inbox, colleagues asking me questions. Plus Twitter, Facebook, Arsenal news alerts, etc, etc.
