Hey beb! Did you manually/edit-in the light from the flashlight in the Halloween post or did you use a small upwards facing light that was disguised into the shoot?

hi! i did have to edit the light beam manually in photoshop. I added an emission map to the flashlight in game (those effects that come and go, like with the alien outfits) but the light that “emanates” isn’t even that cool.. i thought it would at least light up the surroundings a bit.. but .. nope.

sorry if this reply took long... i’ve been staring at this question on and off for the past few days not knowing exactly what i should say... i’m a difficult simmer.. and i don’t want to be a party pooper .. i don’t know if it’s because i’m not in holidays, if it’s because here is winter.. if i’m expecting other things, if i’m expecting new things not revamped from sims 3.. if some of those things can be easily achieved with cc... i’m not really sure if it’s a mix of all those things above mentioned.. but i’m not really.. interested in this particular set. I’m gonna still buy it. But.. yeah, i think there’s enough summer things.. and i don’t see it as a “family oriented” pack... just because an item can work for both adult and child.. does that make it family oriented? idk, again, i’ve seen a lot of ppl really excited and happy about it.. so me being the 1% that is not at all excited shouldn’t make a difference. i think that if the majority likes it, then it must be pretty cool.

Do you think you'll ever make a clutter or deco set themed around like more witchy/voodoo stuff? I really loved the skull in your nautical set- but it's left me wanting more witchy-y-/voodoo stuff 😩

I like your idea! I don’t know if I will, it’s a time constrain issue, unfortunately. But I’ll definitely keep it in mind.

On another note, have you seen this? It’s a concept image for (probably pre-release) TS4. People have also uncovered this fortune teller’s outfit that never made it into the game. I really hope these aren’t scrapped ideas and we will get to see them realized in the future. :-)
