My hcs about Ray's relationships that no one asked for:
They were toxic as shit towards each other all the time. The verbal abuse was pretty much maddening. They were constantly trying to 1-up each other and making each other feel less than.
Entirely illegal. Non consensually drug induced. Likely didn't go any further than kissing though. She's got lesbian vibes
Could've been toxic if it ever got anywhere. "You went from Captain Man to Cameraman" was hilarious, I don't care if he meant it as an insult. She did at least get a second date out of him and she's so god damn petty. Good for her tbh. Her and Mary should get together sometime.
Lived in the same neighborhood for a while. They hung out a bunch and she took him to prom (canon). Sometimes he shows up at the news station just to chill
Used him. Had a bigger part in the Cell than he realized. Likely is the reason his powers are gone. Their relationship doesn't have a single real fragment in their foundation. Also nearly married his ex's wife so icon

Not as oblivious as she makes herself out to be. She's very loyal :) to her tennis instructor. She opened the marriage for that man. Ray is just her son's boss who sometimes maybe occasionally sleeps over as Captain Man. It definitely happened only once.
