I work in a game store as well with a number of females and we’re fortunate to not get this kind of interaction - at least not on a regular basis. Really a shame when I hear about this sort of thing :(

sigh, yeah, tbh this is the first time i've really experienced something so asshat-y myself. we actually have a fair few number of girls but we get a lot of tourists and a small percentage of the men that come in actually refuse to speak to the female employees just because??? clearly we're just working there cos we know nothing about games. sighhhhhhhh.
