FrankK - Millies on My Mind
Hailing from a small village in Sweden, FrankK found her escape from rural life in music, where she describes joining the church choir as the most exciting thing there. So it’s not surprising that a career in music would follow, but FrankK for one was not one to fall for the pitfalls of fame; enter her latest single “Millies on My Mind”. Evident by the track’s big hooks and trap-driven bass, FrankK’s calorie-loaded vocal sweetness on “Millies on My Mind” has all the trappings of a pop anthem. It’s a song ultimately about money, and inspired by materialistic greed as FrankK expands on the tongue in cheek track:
“‘Millies on my mind’ is inspired by a documentary I saw about gold diggers and sugar daddies. I started thinking about that whole phenomena and thought it’d be a funny theme to write about. It’s all based on a very superficial relationship - where they don’t really know each other. But it’s fun. You don’t want to work, so you’re just playing with people and living your life instead. And once you’ve started, you can’t stop. The cash turns into an addiction.”
FrankK’s got other bangers as well. Cash in on the dreamy float and saccharine sweetness of “Fantasy Boy” and scream and shout to the glowing expanse of her beaming debut “Hand on Heart”:
