What are your top three favorite platonic ships? Like you can also see them as lovers sometimes or not - but them as friends is just perfection!
Ok so my number one has to be marylene, I am a marylene shipper but I just love their platonic friendship sm i genuinely couldnt give less of a fuck if they kiss or not (altho they shouldve got together in atyd) I just love them laughing at everything, like the whole world is brighter when they are together. They take the shit out of all the boys, they paint each others nails, mary yells at her for waking them all up for quidditch practice, they share food every single mealtime.
Its defo bartylus next, they r good as lovers but i LOVE rosekiller and i hc reggie as aroace. Theyre friendship shouldt work bcs Barty sould fid him boring but Barty brings out the batshit side of Regulus but he aslo rlly appreciates the boring parts bcs he finds them comforting (altho he would rather die then admit that) Regulus initially became so close iwth barty bcs he saw sirius in him but he also loves barty as barty and bcs he doesnt judge regulus for the convuluted, dark parts of him.
The only canon ship on here, i love platonic noblegarden. Im a nobleflower and silvergarden shipper, but i love platonic frank and alice sm. I hc them as dating for a short time bcs they felt pressure from all their friends too, they are childhood friends and have basically been inseperable since they met on the playground when they were 4 yrs old. Most of their key childhood memories where together they spent all the time they could outside exploring in the woods or playing quidditch. They both get sorted into gryffindor, they both beg the hat to et them into the same house altho they woulvde been anyway. Fraks pretty emotionally repressed but wheevr he actuall gets upset and none of his friends can do anything they get alice from the girls dorm to try and talk to him and its the same with alice. ALso over the hoilidays they both work at Alice's dad gelateria together, theyre family's always thoughgt they were gonna get married but they r just really close friends. (i also ship fralice romantically but i slightly prefer them as friends)
(honorable mention prongsfoot the r my favourite marauders era friendship but i see them so storngly as frieds that i cant picture them as lovers)
