~obligatory shit I got for christmas video~
First review, just in time for Christmas!
I took sort of an impromptu hiatus for a little bit there, but I'm finally back. For those of you who don't know/don't remember, I've got a gaming YouTube channel called FrawstyGames in which I (will eventually soon hopefully) do game reviews/videos. I'm aiming for weekly, but let's see how it goes. This video's pretty boring to be honest, just a bit of a channel update.
I have like 4 scripts written for FrawstyGames videos but neither the time nor means to make them
An all-new HD adventure from WayForward: makers of Ducktales Remastered, Adventure Time, & Contra 4!
Y'know who's really fucking awesome? WayForward. Y'know what's even more incredibly fucking awesome? Their games. Chief among them being one of the most criminally under-appreciated video game franchises in existence, Shantae. Shantae has every right to be super duper popular. It's fucking good, yeh.
Now listen the fuck up you wonderful people. I'm almost positive that at least a fair few of you enjoy video games. I'm sure that, out of that decent chunk of you, at least 30-50-70% own either a 360, PS3, Vita, capable-ish PC, and/or plan on buying one of the next-gen consoles.
I would think it a reasonable assumption that a good amount of you will have the ability to play Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, WayForward's passionate lovechild that they will put so much fucking effort, heart, and soul into if given the chance. Have you ever been disappointed by a WayForward game? Well, to be perfectly honest, I'm doubtful very many of you have even played a WayForward game. BUT, if you had, you'd have been witness to some of the best, old-schooliest games of the past generation. WayForward is one of my favorite developers, goddamnit, and they deserve, nay, we all deserve for this game to become a reality.
So, with just a mere $10,000 left to go of their fairly modest goal (considering how much it costs to make a game these days, $400k isn't all that much to be quite honest), I'm coming to you, my beautiful, buxom followers, to aid me in my quest to help this game get funded so that we may all bask in its glory upon release.
Back it with anything you've got to spare; every bit helps. They have some pretty dope goodies and swag if you're feeling generous enough, such as this cool commemorative coin, physical soundtracks, shirts, etc.
Hell, if you're feeling super duper fucking generous and you're an artsy type, you might even get the chance to have your art featured in the game to some extent. Wowee wow wow!
So yeah, just go click the link and watch the video and if it interests you, maybe plop down a few buckaroos to help fund the game. And then in the meantime, while we wait for its release, be sure to play their gigantic backlog of incredible titles spanning most major consoles (especially the DS/3DS, they fucking love Nintendo's handhelds apparently).
Anyways, yeah, thanks for reading this far! Stay frosty 'n' shit.
