Okay I was mostly joking about Freakbait having deeper lore because I just liked these silly characters and daily missions

But OH MY GOD there's an actual lore here

Recently Freakbait posted this short

This is an add for a corporation which specializes on "research" and "innovations" and "cutting the edge technologies"

But what's really interesting is that if you go to their website demiurge-inc.com you can find an article (one of the many) about... "Reality Warping Technology" which might be just a fancy way to say "simulation"

And in some shorts we see Voidman (Purple) actually acknowledging being in "loops" and admitting that he doesn't remember much. It seems like nobody does.

On this very site you can also find different emails for reporting different stuff, one of which being about "missing person"

From shorts we know that Lime is looking for Red (presumably his sibling) and we not only know that Red was captured we've actually seen it!

And the van in which Red was taken had printed name of the organization

Demiurge Inc.

So, I haven't read all of the stuff in their website (yet) but for now my theory is that Voidman, Lime and others were workers or more likely test subjects in this organization

One of their experiments being some sort of simulation where they were placed and now are being observed by us scientists
