The Fates Decide Which End | Jeongmin&Luhan

The fairy pulled the hood over his head as he stepped into the dark forest. The shiver ran through him when the coldness surrounded him completely, pulling the thick fabric tighter around himself while reaching out with his palm turned up, creating the oh so beautiful fairy light that would lead him to the portals. He exptected Luhan to be there already; they've talked about this so much and he was sure that the reaper was just as eager as he was. And maybe terrified. Jeongmin knew that messing with his own nature was dangerous. And it would cost him things that he was keeping near his heart. He had already listed them in his mind; Yongguk, his wings and Minwoo.

There were a lot of things the werewolf didn't know about his fiance yet. And they weren't all bad; no of course not, Jeongmin would've told them the first time they met. They were more of the types that he liked to keep to himself, and he didn't even know why. There wasn't a particular reason for it, he just felt like they'd hurt more if he they were known to the real world. And as the months passed, this one single thought decided to stick to him, bothering him every single second of his time spent together with the were. His birthday was coming up soon, and he knew that just as every other fairy, sooner or later he'd stop growing, he'd stop turning into an adult. He'd never get wrinkles. He'd never die. The magic would keep him alive, and the fact that his nature wanted him to watch his only one getting older and older caused this eternal pain in his heart.

It was like one of those wicked fairy tales.

And as he was promised by Yongguk, this would never become a sad love story for them. He wouldn't let it. Yongguk wouldn't let it. And most of all, magic won't stop him from getting his happy ending. He cleared his throat quietly as he left the dark, dangerous forest behind him with a lonely owl hooting behind his back. He could already see the portals leading to the different worlds of every creature and a soft smile appeared on his plump lips when he faced the pink one. He could almost feel the warmth of his home on his skin. But it was still far away, and Luhan was no where to be found. Jeongmin stepped back and hugged himself loosely, turning his face towards the forest with the fairy light floating all around him; leaving its golden dust everywhere. The boy closed his eyes for a moment before opening them scared once again. The sound of a branch breaking under someone's weight echoing in the night.
