But now I'm picturing Rhodey and Pepper's reactions to Tony way too quickly growing attached to Natasha (after they both find out the other has future knowledge). They'd probably be terrified that he was going to run off and elope with her, haha.

how are you supposed to be angry at someone when they’re genuinely happy the other person theyve bonded so quickly with has people they know would stick with them through thick and thin? especially for characters like natasha and tony, who’ve been used and abused by so many in their life. nat and tony are just like :’)))))) and the others are gobsmacked and dont even know how to respond

still, tony and nat both enjoy the guilty looks on their friends faces after they admit they know about the shovel talks theyve given the other person. no one is allowed to threaten them while they’re around, after all. the others been through enough already

(besides, the bond between tony and nat might be one thats unbreakable, but its also completely platonic. its kind of funny no one else has realised)

Bruh I watched endgame with my friend and when we were leaving my friend was all shocked and when we got to the parking lot she yells out “YOOOOOOOOOOOO STEVE KISSED HIS NIECE?!?! GAME OF THRONES IMPACT!” Like how are you gonna do that to the end of his arc and hope ppl forget about Sharon Carter’s existence? Lmao

Yeah I think you’re (probably) right!!! the lighting is definitely similar, and the blueish skin and painted nails makes me think thats nebula!

i think they were all distracted by the fact that Natasha had died

fair. however, counterpoint, the idea that no one bothered to touch base with nebula from the moment of arrival until hulk’s snap makes me pretty sad. because 2014!nebula acts differently from 2023!nebula and the fact no one realised who she was until she outed herself while talking to thanos doesn’t really sit right with me

speaking of natasha though, where was her funeral scene? why didnt we get to see a memorial to natasha and vision along with tony at the end huh? why was that russos? maybe add loki in there as well for thor ever think about that russos? EVER THINK ABOUT THAT

@lea813france the remaining avengers have a group meeting over the matter, it’s mostly a pretty good scene and there’s a moment between tony bruce and nat that’s extra cute but each of them knows where at least one stone can be found so that’s how they can brainstorm

Nah, i don’t mind answering this question, mostly because the answer is i ship him with everyone. As for why? BECAUSE HAVE YOU SEEN TONY WHY WOULDN’T YOU SHIP HIM EVERYONE. Pepperony, Stony, Winteriron, Thunderiron, Frostiron, Ironpanther, Ironstrange, Starkquill, Science Boyfriends, Ironwidow IT’S ALL GOOD. 

I’m most likely to read Winteriron though, now that I think about it. 

Man, do I even have any notp ships? Maybe Tony x Peter Parker, because I see him more as a father figure to peter rather than a love interest.

Hello ;) I was wondering if you could tell me about the theory that Tony has the soul stone? :)

i’ve (vaguely answered this in a previous post so i’ll copy my response to here :))

basically with a lot of the marketing building up to infinity war, they had the main characters associated with specific infinity stones on posters. so steve had space stone, vision mind stone, peter quill power stone, doctor strange time stone, thor reality stone and then the soul stone, the only one not seen previously in the movies was with tony.

so a lot of people thought that, going off logic tony must have a connection of some sort to the soul stone (plus how howard said tony was his “greatest creation”). there’s even a couple of fics on ao3 already about this concept. then of course the movie came out and it turned out tony had nothing to do with the soul stone (yet 👀👀👀) and was probably just there to fill in the gap/not give away the soul stone’s actual place/have tony up there with the other major heroes. but still, it’s fun to think about :’) i hope people keep writing tony with the soul stone it’s great.

theres probably other reasoning too but that’s the main one im aware of

Where in Civil War is the heart attack foreshadowed? How did I miss this?

its after ross has given tony and natasha those 36 hours to track down team cap and bring them in safely! after ross leaves the room, tony sits down, rubs at his chest (where the arc reactor used to be), and says his left arm is starting to feel numb! it could mean nothing (maybe he was just making a joke), but someone said that he rubs at his left arm in homecoming as well so thats a pretty consistent problem. his left arm goes through so much shit in civil war though, he says its feeling numb, then he’s got a sling on after the airport fight, then theres a scene in the siberia fight where he gets dragged down and he slams onto the ground left side first, further injuring it.

so long story short lol, theres not really anything confirming it in canon, but there have been a couple of moments that people (such as myself) have taken to mean tony has got something wrong with his heart (STORY OF HIS LIFE REALLY), and it might finally come to fruition in infinity war/avengers 4
