George: Yes !

*Dean walks by

*Fred and George look at each other

Fred : You Know . 

George : Yes 

* Go to Dean

Fred : Do you want this candy we are giving it free to 7 people .

Dean : Ya 

* eats candy

* 1 hour later . Dean snogs ginny

What if Wormtail was the one who gave Fred and George the Maruaders Map?

No, hear me out!

Wormtail has been living with the boys for years! He was Percy’s, but the twins often played pranks on their elder brother. 

It kind of reminds him of James and Sirius picking on Remus a bit for being so...”Remusy” as they put it. Just the little things. 

Then the way they pick on each other sometimes, because they’re still brothers, it’s reminiscent of James and Sirius picking on each other. 

He had salvaged the map from James’ house, I’d imagine. Kept it with him because it was reminiscent of who he used to be, but made sure no one ever found it.  Then it happened. Percy was accepted into Hogwarts. He was home again. 

Soon after, of course, the twins were accepted. 

Oh, how he loved the twins. How he had missed them during the months away. 

So he hid the map. With instructions. 

Very basic instructions, scribbled out as best as he could. 

Years of not writing. Years, and here he was, writing two phrases on a scrap next to the paper. Hoping Fred and George would understand what to do. 

He watched in his rat form as the boys snuck around and found the piece of parchment with the two pieces attached. 

It took a few tries to figure it out, but from his ratty eyes, Wormtail watched Fred and George. When George was saying the phrase, his wand idly resting on his hand. 

As he watched their eyes light up as they looked over all the names. Of all the students and teachers wandering the halls. Of all the exits they could use.

Of all the mischief they could get up to...
