Oh my god please don't watch the finale of how I met your mother please don't do it
oh gosh is it so bad? I was about to watch it actually but now I don’t know! Is it better to live in the land of sweet not-knowingness?!
ehonauta replied to your post: TEAM SAM NEEDS TO PUNCH DEAN IN THE FACE
I continue to be happy with my decision to only “watch” this season via fanfic and tumblr.
Glad that's working out for you.
fredliness replied to your post:lololol remember WE DON'T WORK WITH DEMONS?
dean has done so much worse than work with a demon this season, if cas had been the one to give permission to an angel against sam’s will, there’d be so much more shit going down
Oh totally. He totally has. (I mean, I didn't see the big deal about working with demons in the first place, since they always have.) I'm just pointing out the extremely contradictory nature of these few episodes, given what we spent an ENTIRE SEASON angsting about. The writers have been pretty crap about keeping track of their own canon this season. But man, the thought of Cas having been the one to introduce an angel into Sam and the shitstorm that would've ensued is the stuff my SPN nightmares are made of. By comparison, I am extremely thankful for how things went down . . . Thanks for that? ;D

same, though i get what moffat was saying about her story being done and not wanting to mess with that (and i’m kinda glad he didn’t)
Yeah, I am glad that Moffat didn't mess with her story (I don't think he could do it justice), but I still miss Rose and Ten.
Part 2
Part 1 is here.
*******
“James,” Seamus sighed. “Do me a favor and shut up. For two goddamn minutes, don’t say a word.”
James grinned. “The ship still giving you headaches, doc?”
The Concord lurched, and Seamus grew green. He groaned, “I wasn’t born to sail.”
James snickered, and Seamus glared at him.
Another lurch. Another groan. “Smooth sailing, they said.” Seamus retched into the bucket between his knees. “Bloody liars.” Another lurch. “Bloody ship.”
James placed a hand on his friend’s shoulder. “You’ll get your sea legs soo—”
The doors to the sick bay burst open and in ran Stevie Jacobson, the cabin boy.
“Doc, they need ya on tha main deck.” His squeaky voice started gathering speed. “Ya won’ believe it. We jus’ pulled a girl outta tha ocean. Saved her life, we did.”
“Is she conscious? Has she said anything? How long was she in the water? Do you know?”
“No, sir. Cap’n jus’ sent me ta fetch ya.”
Seamus bolted up the stairs, momentarily ignoring the constant rocking of the Concord, while James and Stevie followed quickly behind him.
By the time that they reached the main deck, half of the crew was crowded around the poor girl.
“Back off ‘er.” The doctor yelled. “Give her some air.”
The crew dispersed and James got a look at the girl.
She soaking wet and her clothes were plastered to her skin, which had taken a startling red hue after spending God only knows how many hours in the open ocean.
She looked kind of familiar, but where could he have seen her before?
The girl turned her head, taking in the deck while Seamus asked her questions—“How long were you in the water? What ship were you aboard? Did you fall overboard, or was your ship attacked?”—when her eyes found James.
Johanna Kemp.
They stared at each other, eyes growing large.
And simultaneously, James and Johanna whipped their pistols out of their holsters and took aim at the other’s heart.
The crew’s eyes darted back and forth between the pair, confused and unsure of whether or not to intervene.
“Put the pistol down.”
“No.” She tried to sound defiant, but it was rather hard to, as her teeth were chattering.
James snorted. “Oh c’mon, you know as well as I do that that gun is useless. You’re not stupid enough to forget that wet gunpowder doesn’t light.”
“Yes, but I hoped you were.” Her arm dropped and a look of defeat flickered across her face.
James smiled and Johanna scowled.
“Gentleman, may I introduce you to Johanna Kemp, thief, murderer, and captain of the pirate ship the St. Mary.”
Thanks for the help!
