I feel like Flashpoint Thomas Wayne is really underutilized for whump purposes.
Specifically what he seemed to think his win condition was towards the end of City of Bane:
Thomas is controlling the city as Batman. (I don't think he would have minded Bane vanishing, that wasn't essential.)
Bruce is staying safe at home in the Manor with 'his woman' [Selina] and his family.
The entire rest of the family is mind-controlled by Psycho-Pirate. (Not sure whether that could be kept up the whole time — he might have to cycle them through mind-control, imprisonment, and being coerced by threats to the others.)
He killed Alfred for this and was surprised to find himself unwilling to kill 'real' grandson Damian — everyone in the family other than Bruce is ultimately expendable if necessary to maintain the scenario.
There is just. So much you can do with that. So many horrible directions you can go in. With some fine-tuning of Thomas's goals, prejudices, and flaws you could focus whump on anyone in the Batfamily with this.
(I've contemplated writing something with it myself but my problem is I often like to read whump and hurt/comfort, I can come up with whump scenarios, but when it comes to actually writing it I usually end up talking around it or giving clinical summaries or sometimes not going through with the scenario at all.)
