Last year some friends were trying to get into rigged animation and were having trouble finding beginner-friendly rigs, so I made one!!! Sal is pared down compared to a lot of the rigs I was seeing on Gumroad, and it meant to be an intro-level rig for people just getting started with rigged animation.

Sal was designed by the ebullient Michie Gonzalez, whose work can be found here! Michie's graphic and effusive style lends itself perfectly to cutout animation, so Sal was a real treat to work with.
