Waarom is Xender beter dan AirDrop voor Bestandsoverdracht

Om bestanden te verzenden, zijn er tal van apps te downloaden. Echter, wil ik vandaag een bijzonder opvallende app onder de loep nemen; Xender. Het is een veelzijdige, gebruiksvriendelijke app die dé oplossing biedt voor het overzetten van bestanden tussen verschillende apparaten. Ik zal nu een aantal voordelen noemen die Xender heeft ten opzichte van populaire alternatieven als Airdrop en Move to IOS.

· Voordeel 1

Xender is een-app die beschikbaar is op zowel Android als iOS. Dit is een van de belangrijkste voordelen, aangezien veel andere apps zich beperken tot specifieke platforms. Met Xender is het dus mogelijk om eenvoudig bestanden te delen, ongeacht het type apparaat dat je gebruikt.

· Voordeel 2

Een van de grootste voordelen van Xender vind ik de snelheid van bestandsoverdrachten. Met behulp van WiFi Direct worden mijn bestanden tot wel 200 keer sneller overgedragen dan via Bluetooth. Dit betekent dat ik heel snel grote bestanden kan delen, wat bijzonder handig is voor het versturen van foto’s, video’s of documenten.

· Voordeel 3

Ik vind Xender een gemakkelijke app want het staat bekent om een eenvoudige en intuïtieve interface. Zelfs als je geen technologische achtergrond hebt, kun je binnen enkele minuten aan de slag. De app vertelt je stap voor stap hoe je de bestanden naar een ander apparaat moet overdragen. Zelfs als je niet zo technisch bent, kun je binnen enkele minuten aan de slag.

· Voordeel 4

Een ander groot voordeel van Xender is dat je geen internetverbinding of mobiele data nodig hebt om bestanden te verzenden. Dit maakt het voor mij een geweldige app die ik kan gebruiken wanneer ik beperkte toegang hebt want dan kan ik waar en wanneer ik maar wil toch mijn bestanden met iemand delen.

Waarom geen Airdrop kiezen?+

AirDrop is een populaire app voor Apple-gebruikers, waarmee ook bestanden kunnen worden gedeeld, tussen Apple-apparaten. Het werkt ook snel en efficiënt, maar het heeft één groot nadeel: het is beperkt tot alleen delen tussen Apple apparaten. AirDrop kan je dus niet gebruiken om bestanden te verzenden naar of van Android-apparaten. Dit is voor mij een reden dat ik deze app niet gebruik omdat ik dan niets kan delen met mijn vrienden of familie omdat ik een Android smartphone heb.

En wat mist Move to iOS dan?

Move to iOS is een app die is ontworpen om jou te helpen als je wilt overstappen van Android naar iOS. Het is een handige oplossing om je contactpersonen, foto’s en berichten over te zetten. Maar, het is voornamelijk gericht op de eerste installatie van je nieuwe Iphone en migreert je gegevens dus. Na deze migratie, biedt het geen uitgebreide bestandsoverdracht meer zoals bij Xender.

Wat kunnen we dus concluderen?

Als je op zoek bent naar een betrouwbare app die snel en gemakkelijk bestanden kan overzetten tussen Android- en Apple-apparaten, dan is Xender de ideale oplossing.
