    The words irritated her. Her nose wrinkled with a grumble under her breath, hands gripping around her shovel. Sitting up while leaning against the handle, she looked down at him with an upset look. Pity? In this world?

    "Please, the last thing I'm doing is giving you pity. I'm acknowledging just how messed up things are right now," she huffed, tapping her shovel's head with her foot. Does Coop keep in touch with childhood friends? Which ones and why?

A few! Growing up, Coop traveled around Cyberspace with his mom, Rosey! She was a handywoman for hire and brought Coop with her to all her jobs! She taught him everything he knows about fixing things and would bring him to Disgardia to salvage parts because they didn't have the money to buy new ones for jobs!

Because of this, Coop met a wide variety of borgs from different sites! He vaguely remembers a borg he greatly admired on Gollywood, but whenever he tries to think too hard about them, he gets the worse migraine. (It definitely isn't @moecartoons oc Chip, what??? No....)

Because of his positive and relaxed attitude, friendly nature and smarts, and pretty face Coop has always been pretty popular. He makes friends wherever he goes! The biggest gap in his friendships was when he and Hacker separated and when he was isolated for years because of Hacker poisoning him.

When he and Hacker separated, they shared the same friend group on Radopolis, and many of their friends felt like they had to choose sides, or were too chill and refused to take Coop seriously about Hacker.

When Coop was on Disgardia, he definitely loss some of his charisma as well as picked up the habit of talking to himself. Once he returned to Radopolis many of his old friends reconnected, but with his aged joints and energy levels, not all of them stuck around, but some of his childhood friends did which he appreciated.

One of those friends was King Dudacus. He and Dudacus had been childhood friends and often competed in competitions together going head to head. In Radopolis, there's a skating competition to be the next ruler. Originally Dudacus wasn't going to compete, but Coop pushed him to do it. While Coop was MIA, Dudacus kept an eye on Slider and was the reason Slider didn't become a full recluse, encouraging him to skate and helping him find business for his garage, something that Coop greatly appreciates. Dudacus is like a distant uncle figure to Slider who still goes to him to complain and vent when he's mad about something. When Coop returned, Dudacus was the one that made an entire celebration, and makes sure others respect Coop's skills when he's around.

It seems like that word kept popping up way more than often for Nova, especially when she's walking around, trying to mind her own business. While she understood the full extent of such danger, she also couldn't help herself. The curiosity being risen, asking stupid questions that could lead her to foolish situations. Rather, her being the fool than the situation itself. An avoidable one she could easily dodge but nope, she has to be curious from time to time.

Despite the curious look twinkling in those brown eyes of hers, there is tension settling into her body. Not quite as strong, but still present. As if it will increase and make her bolt out of the area if danger presented itself.

Has Santino ever deliberately set out to emotionally hurt someone?

Oh yes, and many times! Emotional trauma was his bread and butter in the cult. Most prominently of course is everything he did to Armand. Certainly he meant to convey the irredeemable evil of their vampiric nature when he sent Armand's best friend down into the dungeon to be devoured by him but he still did that fully knowing it would traumatize the hell out of Armand. And it sure did.

How does Rengoku feel about his co-workers? What are they like?

The entirety of the Demon Slayer Corps is his coworkers, which is quite a few people. In general, Rengoku tends to have a positive opinion of others, even those that might seem disagreeable. He is fond of, and values, all who work for the common goal of protecting people from demons. He respects everyone in the Corps, from the strongest members to the ones who seem not to achieve much on their own, because they're all working hard at a dangerous and important job - they all contribute what they can.

Rengoku is very good at seeing the good in other people and focusing on that. Because he's very outgoing and cheerful and doesn't get easily offended or put off by others, he can get along well with most people (as long as they don't mind his own little oddities).

To give a more specific answer it would be easier to focus on his fellow Hashira, though. There's a section in the fanbook for that...

The other Hashira all regard him in a positive light, too.

As for what the other Hashira are like? Very individual. There are some abrasive and/or standoffish personalities (Sanemi, Iguro), friendly and open personalities (Mitsuri and Rengoku himself), quiet Giyuu who doesn't talk much... most of them carry a lot of emotional baggage and have their fair share of eccentricities. They don't all get along with or like each other. But they do share a strong dedication to the Corps leader and to their cause.

“It-it was just a saying!” Hugo counters, putting his hands up in surrender. His stomach was doing flips at this point as Gerry’s erratic behavior only seemed to increase with each interaction. He goes to speak, but the words seem to get stuck in his throat. The alien can only choke on them, so his fingers stick themselves in his collar and pulls it away from his neck, suddenly finding it to be way too tight.

“No, no! I don’t think you actually would, I promise! I just…thought you brought me on wild adventures. I’ve never done things like this before, and-and they can be dangerous, and…,” his words trail off, realizing he wasn’t helping the situation. He wrings his clammy hands, sweat starting to bead on his forehead. He was scared, and it was obvious.

“We’re friends! Yes, friends! And friends do not kill each other. I don’t think you’d actually…do that.” A nervous laugh escapes Hugo, purely without thought.

Yellow eyes shifted upwards to the taller man, eyeing him carefully. They had met once before and that's on Vasco causing mischief for the guy. So, hearing those words - "Don't worry, I'm staying right here" - from Gerad is quite strange. While the whole trusting strangers is out the question since Vasco never trusted anyone outside of the Nauts - and he had to start early - he couldn't himself but find comfort in those words. It's hard not to, especially when you almost got lost at sea. It's not that he couldn't swim or survive out in the waters, far from any land. The lessons of survival been drilled into his mind the moment he could walk. He'll be lying that it didn't shook him up, even when he almost got swept off his feet and into the waters quite a few times. Those few times, including this time, always shook him up. While he tried to keep a level-head about it since all Nauts have to, knowing the risk of being on a wooden ship like the one he had to be on, he let down the mask when no one is around.

His skinny knees being brought to his chest with his chin tucked in the cracks of it. His arms wrapped around his legs. Vasco had slipped away when he gotten his break. His small legs carrying him to a random location where he can be alone to his thoughts yet close to the ocean. He didn't seem to have heard someone approaching until the familiar face peered from above with a slight concern.
