Flood checking in Freeland Michigan
This first picture is looking north on the Tittabawassee River at Freeland.
In the upper middle of this shot 👆 is Festival Park, totally underwater. The edge of the river is supposed to be about fifty feet out in front of those flag poles.
The second picture is showing the river with me standing at the same spot as the first picture but rotated as to show the other side of the river. Yes, it was still raining here.
This third picture 👆was taken with my Canon with a zoom lens. You can see the 3 flag poles and just to the left of them is the stairway with two sets of steps, all underwater. Also underwater is the whole handicap ramp leading down to the river.
This is what nine inches (23cm) of rain in 3 or 4 days looks like. 🙄
I also drove to Midland Michigan and will post pics from there. There are many places that are blocked off from entering because of flooding.
