What is love? Love is you in my head...right?

Why do we not kill ourselves?
Why do we keep living?
Because we love the happy moments more than we despise the terrible moments. Because out of the 10 times we were desperate, 6 times we were saved.
Happiness the Butterfly
What if we caught it?
Happiness the Butterfly
Would we have all of its wonders?
Its beauty
Its freedom
Its delicacy
Or would we squish it in our very own hands?

a lover who wasn't mine
Today I felt kinda complicated
When the music played and the band singed
But I had no time to feel what id felt
The ache in my heart was a whirlpool
I just stood
And ran around a field kicking a ball
Trust me, the view was amazing
Trust me The sight was fulfilling
I thought I was dreaming
But I couldn’t even think
My mind running that 100 meters under 9 seconds
I had buried you under the footsteps of my life
And behind the quick pace of day to day
There was no time
No space
Not even a crack
To acknowledge the feelings I had for you
Afterall
I had a lover who wasn’t mine

We never dare to touch the sun, because when we were children, its light had once ignited our curiosity to hold its flame in our hands, only to find that it burned us.
Fire, so merciless, we fell into its trap. We were like moths attracted to luminescent lights. We scurried away. The children cried and the adults cursed.
So we learned, knowing we will never harness s wild nature.

Hope in the shadow of fear is the world's most powerful motivator.
-Neal Shusterman, Scythe
This quote is from undoubtedly one of my favourite books of all time, Scythe. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested in sci-fi and metaphorical pieces. The book is so, so beautiful and interesting, where you see humans in their instincts and attempt in creating a world of utopia.
Short summary of Scythe: for anyone interested!
The book is about human civilization in the future, 2042. At that point, humans have conquered death and become immortal. There are no diseases, no war, and all knowledge have been discovered. However, because they have taken away nature’s law, they still must sustain order, and such, there is an organization people called Scythes chosen to “glean” (kill) people. Citra and Rowan are chosen to becomes Scythes, are learn about “the art of killing”.
