Talking and Chatting in French (parler et discuter en français)

chuchoter (v.) - to whisper

bavarder (v.) - to gossip

à voix basse - in a low voice

explique-moi ça  - explain that to me

en train de discuter  - chatting

commérages - gossip (n.)

parler dans le dos de quelqu'un - to talk about someone behind their back

discours (n.m.) -  discourse 

discussion (n.f.) - discussion

discuter - to discuss (v.)
