She had to say, this moment, no matter how mundane, was making her extremely happy. She and Jihyun were taking a taxi to his apartment, both a little drunker than they meant to get at the party. Despite the seat-belt holding her in place, she had still managed to attach herself to his side, comfortable.
“I’m glad you came back.” She mumbled. He leaned over to press a kiss to the side of her head.
“I promised I would.” She shifted, pulling him away slightly, looking down as she fidgeted with her fingers.
“Yeah, but... You could have found yourself and... you know, found someone better.” She said quietly.
“Look at me.” He said softly, touching her shoulder lightly. She glanced up, and saw his dead serious face. “That’s not going to happen. I’m amazed that you’re still here for me.”
“And who would I go with?” She snorted. “I’m pretty sure you’re the only person in like the past 6 years who’s actually wanted me.”
