Her name is Diana Lang. I met @diana_lang8119 Diana & her husband, Luke, selling them a home. We became fast friends. And, during this very transactional experience the most amazing thing happened. When Matthew, my husband, needed a kidney, they were the first people to ask to be tested for a match. They hadn’t even met him in person at this time. Pause. What I’m telling you is that these people offered to give a body part to their realtor’s husband. Whom they did not know. What?!! They taught me that it’s not what you do that causes connection. It’s HOW you SHOW UP doing what you do. And, much later, when Luke passed away, she asked me to speak at his funeral. To date: one of the greatest honours of my life. If you were to ask Diana what something new in her world, she’d tell you that she is putting her horticulture gloves on and planting her very first vegetable garden. Diana is the type of person that if she feels like she is supposed to do something based on a God prompting, there will be nothing that will stop her from doing it. Nothing. She’s been in the employee recognition business for 18 years. She comes up with new ways for companies to let their employees know that they matter. I find this particularly interesting, because Diana makes everyone she meets feel important. I guess it’s in her blood. I asked Diana what she’d love to share today and this is what she said to me: “I definitely want to share how real God was during Luke’s cancer journey. And, how people stepped up, rallied and supported us through his battle. I have no idea how I would have survived without so many people helping us in tangible ways”. Join me today (4/15) on IGTV Live at 12pm EST, to hear more about this incredible lady and her journey to now. This story will make you a better person.
