Why do people say that Elriel is endgame and that it's pointed out in ACOFAS?? And what's that stuff about Lucien and Vassa, something about him having romantic feelings for her?
Yah lol no. People are grasping at straws, tbh. In both cases. Elain noticed something about Az - well, she’s around him since she lives with Rhys and Feyre. She’s not a complete idiot. She got someone a gift on Solstice, a day when everyone was exchanging gifts. Shocking! I’ve mentioned this before, but all of the truly meaningful gifts were exchanged in private… (e.g. nessian and feysand) not when they were in the large group.
And Lucien is clearly still thinking about Elain! Why would he have feelings for Vassa when he is still obviously feeling a pull towards her and trying to reach out on occasion! The fact that he’s being respectful and giving her space does not mean he’s giving up. He’s… being respectful and giving her space.
The whole thing with Vassa is a thing with Lucien, Vassa, AND Jurian. And it’s basically a teenage rebel gang, a couple hundred years too late. They’re just late bloomers, ok? But we might as well start shipping Lucien and Jurian if the fact that they are all hanging out means there are ~feelings~. The fact that Lucien wants to save Vassa from her curse is what any decent person would want? If your friend was in a similar position you’d do the same? ´
I have el/riel blocked, so I actually couldn’t even see your ask at first lmao. So any conversations about why they are or even aren’t canon go completely by me. I’m going to reread acofas at some point, hopefully soon (but my tbr is RIDICULOUS) and I’ll look for more evidence one way or another.
