*Mei stayed with Phillip in the hospital for.. ... they... lost track of time. They laid across his lap like they had done before, kinda just... staring off.*

*Eventually they looked up at Phillip, him still being asleep as usual. They sat up and nudged the side of his head with their snout, hoping that would wake him up but they didn't get a response. ... They probably should've expected that.*

*Mei sighed then carefully climbed up into the bed, laying down on Phillip's lap fully. They were.. a lot bigger than they were expecting but they made it work. They nudged the bottom of his chin, hoping thet would do at least.. something.*

"...friend....." *They whimpered.* "...please wake up..."

*They sighed again when they didn't get a reaction. They laid their head down, feeling their stomach rumble but they didn't get up or even move. They didn't want to leave... they didn't want to miss the small chance that he would wake up while they're away.*
